To begin making the spicy gatte ki kadhi, start by making the gatte. in a mixing bowl, combine besan flour, red chilli powder, carom seeds, curd, and salt. knead the mixture to make a stiff dough. if needed, add a little water to achieve the right consistency.
Divide the gatte mixture into 8 to 10 small portions and shape each portion into a small cylindrical roll. keep them aside.
Now, cook the gatte. heat water in a saucepan and bring it to a boil. place the gatte in the boiling water and cook for about 7 to 8 minutes. the gatte will rise to the top when they are cooked. drain the gatte from the water and set them aside.
Next, prepare the kadhi. in a large saucepan, whisk the curd along with besan flour and 2 cups of water to make a smooth batter. add the coarse paste of garlic and green chillies, along with turmeric powder.
Place the saucepan over high heat and bring the kadhi to a boil. keep whisking to ensure a homogeneous consistency.
