To create the saffron-infused peanut delight, start by dry roasting the peanuts in a wide pan for about 5 to 6 minutes until they become fragrant. set them aside once roasted.
Powder the jaggery (or unrefined sugar) and cardamom together or separately, depending on your preference.
Grease a medium-sized plate with a small amount of ghee (clarified butter) and keep it aside.
Grind the roasted peanuts coarsely using a grinder.
In the same pan, add the ground peanuts, powdered jaggery (or sugar), a pinch of saffron strands, yellow food color (if desired), milk powder, and milk. cook this mixture over low heat while stirring continuously.
