To prepare the raw mango and tomato dal fry, start by gathering all the required ingredients.
In a pressure cooker, combine the arhar dal, grated raw mango, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, slit green chillies, diced tomato, and add 2 cups of water.
Pressure cook the dal mixture for 3 to 4 whistles until the dal is thoroughly cooked.
Once the cooking process is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally.
Open the pressure cooker and use a wooden ladle to mash the dal and raw mango mixture until it becomes mushy. set it aside.
