To start making the mixed beans and vegetable pulao, pressure cook the red kidney beans and double beans with enough water until they are soft, taking care not to turn them mushy. once cooked, drain excess water and set them aside.
In a heavy-bottomed cooking vessel, heat oil and add cloves, green cardamom, and cinnamon stick. allow the spices to release their aroma.
Add sliced onions to the vessel and saute until they turn translucent.
Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for another minute.
Now, add the boiled red kidney beans and double beans to the vessel and saute for a minute or two.
