To begin making the spiced baked beans shakshuka with oats, soak the red kidney beans overnight in water for about 8 hours.
Drain the soaked beans and cook them in a pressure cooker with salt until they become soft and tender.
In a saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. add the chopped onions and garlic, sauteing until the onions become tender.
Stir in the ripe tomatoes, honey, cumin powder, oregano, cayenne pepper powder, salt, and black pepper powder. mix well.
Add the cooked and drained kidney beans to the tomato gravy. stir-fry the beans until they are well coated with the tomato mixture.
