To create the mango and coconut banana stem delight, gather and prepare all the required ingredients.
Start by cleaning and chopping the banana stem into small pieces.
Add the banana stem pieces to a pressure cooker, along with 1/4 cup of water and salt. pressure cook for 2 whistles.
Quickly release the pressure by running the cooker under cold water to prevent the banana stem from becoming too soft.
While the banana stem is cooking, blend the fresh coconut, mango dices, and cilantro leaves (use them as a substitute for green chillies in this variation) into a coarse mixture using a blender.
