To prepare the banana and jaggery anarsa delight, start by making a delightful twist to the traditional maharashtrian anarsa.
In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. add jaggery and let it dissolve completely to form a sweet syrup. allow the syrup to cool down.
Once the jaggery syrup is cool, add milk and ripe banana powder. mix well to form a smooth batter. the ripe banana powder adds natural sweetness and flavor to the anarsa.
In a separate bowl, soak poppy seeds in water for a few minutes. drain and set aside.
Gradually add the soaked poppy seeds to the banana-jaggery mixture. stir gently to evenly distribute the poppy seeds throughout the batter.
