In the meantime, heat some olive oil in a pan. add chopped onion and minced garlic, and saute until the onion turns translucent.

Stir in the pasta sauce and cook the mixture for about 3 minutes.

Add cottage cheese, salt, black pepper, oregano, and basil. cook for another 2 minutes, ensuring the flavors blend well.

Rinse the salt off the zucchini slices and gently squeeze out the excess water.
