To prepare steamed cabbage delight, start by thoroughly washing the cabbage and soaking it in hot water for 2 to 3 minutes. then, set it aside.

In a mixer grinder, prepare a paste by blending mustard seeds, poppy seeds, green chillies, grated coconut, and garlic along with some water.

In a mixing bowl, combine the soaked cabbage with the ground paste, salt, jaggery, turmeric powder, red chili powder, mustard oil, and cumin seeds. mix everything well and let it marinate for 1 hour.

Prepare a steamer and line it with a banana leaf.

Take small portions of the marinated cabbage mixture and shape them into cylindrical gatta using your hands.
