To prepare the carrot-infused steamed idli recipe, wash the carrot thoroughly and chop it into small pieces.
In a blender, grind the chopped carrot pieces along with green chillies to form a coarse paste. alternatively, you can grate the carrot.
Add the carrot paste into the prepared idli batter and mix well to infuse the flavors.
In a pan, heat sunflower oil and add mustard seeds, minced ginger, and curry leaves. let the mustard seeds splutter and the flavors blend together.
Add the prepared tadka (tempering) to the idli batter and mix it well. season with salt to taste and ensure all the ingredients are well combined.
