In a blender, combine the green gram sprouts, spinach, and green chilies. blend them with a little water to obtain a smooth paste.
Transfer the paste to a bowl. add salt, besan, and 1/4 cup of water. mix well to make a batter of pouring consistency.
Just before steaming, add the eno fruit salt and 2 teaspoons of water to the batter.
When bubbles form, gently mix the batter.
Grease a 175 mm (7-inch) diameter thali (round flat dish) and pour the batter into it. shake the thali in a clockwise motion to spread the batter evenly.
