To create the sweet corn polenta dhokla, start by blending the sweet corn kernels along with green chilies and ginger in a blender until smooth.
In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed corn paste, corn meal, yogurt, asafoetida, turmeric powder, salt, sugar, and lemon juice. mix everything well.
Adjust the consistency by adding water to achieve a thick, dropping consistency batter. allow the batter to rest for 30 minutes.
In the meantime, prepare the steamer and lightly grease two 8-inch steel plates or any molds of your choice with a small amount of oil.
Add baking powder (fruit salt) to the dhokla batter, mix well, and promptly pour the batter into the prepared plates or molds.
