To prepare the khirasaku (odiya style rice pan cake) recipe, start by soaking the basmati rice in water for 3 hours.

After the soaking time, grind the rice into a smooth paste by adding a little water to it.

In a pan, bring the milk to a boil. once it starts boiling, add sugar and chopped dry fruits to the milk.

Gradually add the rice batter to the boiling milk while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.

On another side, heat a nonstick pan and add some ghee to it. pour the rice batter into the pan and spread it evenly, covering the pan with a lid. cook the pan cake on low flame.
