Heat a large pan, preferably an iron kadai, over medium flame.
Add 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil to the kadai and season it with a pinch of salt.
Add a handful of sorghum seeds and wait until they start popping. stir continuously to prevent burning. you can also dry roast them without oil.
Once all the sorghum seeds have popped, transfer them to a large bowl. repeat the process for the remaining sorghum seeds.
Fry the rice papad in the same oil until they become crispy. set them aside.
