To prepare the chironji and okra curry, start by soaking the chironji seeds in water for at least 1 hour, and then drain the water.
Rub the soaked chironji seeds against your palm to remove the outer layer, and discard the discarded outer layer.
Grind the cleaned chironji seeds into a coarse paste using a mixer, and set it aside.
In a flat skillet, heat some sunflower oil, and add cumin seeds, cardamom pods, and black peppercorns. allow them to splutter for a few seconds.
Add finely chopped ginger to the skillet and cook until it softens.
