Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius. spread the almond flakes on a baking sheet and roast them for about 4 minutes or until they turn golden in color.
To prepare the toffee sauce, caramelize the powdered sugar in a saucepan. add 40 grams of unsalted butter and stir until melted. then, gradually add the fresh cream while continuously stirring to combine the ingredients. mix until you have a smooth and creamy toffee sauce.
For the biscuit crumble, crush the digestive biscuits and mix them with 20 grams of melted butter. spread this mixture evenly in a 6-inch tart mold. press it firmly to create a crust. bake the crust in a preheated oven at 160 degrees celsius for about 10 minutes or until it becomes golden brown.
In a bowl, combine the roasted almond flakes and the prepared toffee sauce. mix them together until the almond flakes are well coated with the sauce. pour this almond mixture over the baked biscuit crumble in the tart mold.
Place the tart mold with the almond mixture in the preheated oven at 180 degrees celsius. bake for approximately 15 minutes or until the almond topping is slightly golden and set.
