To prepare andhra mango lentil curry, begin by washing the arhar dal thoroughly under running water.
In a pressure cooker, add the washed arhar dal and grated raw mango. add a teaspoon of turmeric powder and a pinch of salt to taste.
Pressure cook the dal and mango mixture on high heat for 3-4 whistles. once cooked, turn off the heat and allow the pressure cooker to cool down on its own.
After the pressure cooker has cooled down, mash the cooked arhar dal and raw mango thoroughly using a masher or the backside of a ladle.
For tempering, heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a heavy-bottomed pan.
