To begin making the mixed bean and tofu veggie burger, pressure cook the mixed beans (moth dal flour and kala chana) soaked overnight with 1/2 cup of water for about 6 whistles.
Allow the pressure to release naturally and then drain the water completely.
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok or pan. add chopped onions and ginger-garlic paste. saute for a minute until the onions soften.
Add mushrooms and carrots, stir and cook until the water evaporates.
Add coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, red chili powder, and saute for a few seconds.
