How To Cook?

1

To start preparing the coconut oats and rajgira pudding, first, soak the chana dal in water for about an hour.

2

Wash the soaked dal thoroughly and drain the water.

3

Take a large saucepan, add the soaked chana dal and 2 cups of water. bring it to a boil over high heat.

4

Once the water starts boiling, reduce the heat to medium and simmer the dal, stirring occasionally until it becomes soft and fully cooked. do not cover the pan with a lid.

5

While the dal is cooking, extract coconut milk. grind the grated coconut with water and then squeeze the ground coconut over a sieve to extract the first thick coconut milk. you should get about 3/4 to 1 cup of thick coconut milk.
