To start making the coconut drumstick buttermilk curry, steam the drumstick in a pressure cooker with 2 tablespoons of water.
Cook until you hear two whistles and then immediately release the pressure to preserve the green color and prevent overcooking. set aside.
In a grinder, make a smooth paste using fresh coconut, raw rice, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, and dried red chillies. add a little warm water to help with grinding.
In a saucepan, combine the yogurt, coconut mixture, and cooked drumstick. bring it to a brisk boil and then turn off the heat.
For seasoning, heat coconut oil in a tadka pan over medium heat.
