How To Cook?

Cut the broccoli into florets and clean the spinach leaves. add the broccoli, spinach leaves, garlic cloves, green chilli, and a little water to a blender. blend until you get a thick paste.

Transfer the green paste to a bowl. add gram flour, cumin powder, garam masala, black pepper, and salt. mix well and gradually add water to form a medium-consistency batter without any lumps.

Heat a non-stick tawa (griddle) and drizzle a few drops of oil on it. pour two ladlefuls of the batter onto the tawa and spread it in circular motions to make a round pancake (cheela). cook on one side until golden patches appear. flip it over and cook until it turns slightly crispy.

Serve the broccoli spinach pancakes with a chutney or dip of your choice. enjoy these nutritious and delicious pancakes as a wholesome meal or snack.

For a more satisfying variation, you can add a filling of paneer (indian cottage cheese) or vegetables to the pancake batter before cooking. this will enhance the taste and make the pancakes more wholesome.
