To prepare the tomato coconut neer dosa, start by soaking the rice in water, completely immersed, for at least 3 hours.
Once the rice is well soaked, drain the water.
In a blender, grind the soaked rice, coconut, and salt together, adding water gradually to make a smooth batter.
Add water little by little to ensure the batter is smooth and not coarse.
The batter should have a thin consistency and form a smooth coating at the back of the spoon.
