To begin making the spicy chickpea tacos with indian flavors, first boil the soaked chickpeas in a pressure cooker with 1 cup of water for 8 whistles until the chickpeas are fully cooked.
Turn off the flame and allow the pressure to release naturally.
Open the pressure cooker, drain the excess water, and set the chickpeas aside.
Heat oil in a kadai or pan over medium flame. add half of the chopped onions and saute for a few minutes until they turn soft.
Add the ginger garlic paste and continue cooking on low heat.
