Next, prepare the herbed sauce for the flan. in a blender, combine the cooled roasted vegetables, vegetable stock, unsalted butter, heavy cream, egg yolks, salt, and pepper. blend until you get a smooth mixture.

Stir in the chopped walnuts into the flan mixture.

Preheat the oven to 180Êû≥c. place a roasting dish with water in the oven to warm up. the flan will be cooked in a water bath to keep it moist.
