Begin by soaking the white soya beans overnight in water for about 8 hours.
Prepare the cooked tomato puree separately (see the recipe on how to make tomato puree at home).
Once the beans are soaked, cook them using a pressure cooker.
Place the soaked beans in the pressure cooker along with 2-1/2 cups of water. close the lid and cook for 4 to 5 whistles.
Reduce the heat to low and cook for an additional 15 minutes. allow the pressure to release naturally for about 10 minutes.
