To prepare crispy suran delight, begin by cutting the suran (yam) into 1-inch pieces.
Heat water in a saucepan and add a pinch of salt, turmeric powder, and the suran pieces. cook until the suran is partially cooked.
Drain the water and set the suran aside.
In a pan, heat some cooking oil and fry the suran pieces until they become crisp. remove them from the pan and set aside.
In a mixer grinder, combine ripe tomatoes, fresh coconut, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, and a pinch of salt. grind these ingredients into a smooth paste and set it aside.
