To prepare assamese spiced fish rice, start by washing and cutting the fish into 1-inch pieces.
In a bowl, mix coriander powder, turmeric powder, cumin, and grated ginger.
Heat oil in a pan and add the spice mixture prepared in the bowl. cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
Now, add the fish pieces to the pan and cook on low flame for about 5 minutes until the fish is cooked through. remove the fish and set it aside.
In the same pan, add bay leaves and sliced onions. cook until the onions become soft.
