To begin making spicy crispy sweet potato sticks, wash and peel the sweet potatoes. cut them into one-inch long stick pieces, similar to finger chips.
In a non-stick wok, heat mustard oil over medium heat. once the oil is hot, add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add sliced green chilies and saute for a minute to release their flavor.
Stir in the chopped sweet potatoes and sprinkle turmeric powder. season with salt to taste.
Reduce the heat and cook until the sweet potatoes are fully cooked and tender.
