To begin making the shrimp and star fruit curry, first, rub salt and turmeric powder on the shrimps.

Heat oil in a wok or frying pan and add the shrimps. fry them for just 2 minutes and then take them out and keep them aside.

In the same wok, add dried red chili and mustard seeds. once the mustard seeds start crackling, add the crushed garlic paste and fry for a bit.

Now, add the star fruit pieces to the wok.

Once the star fruit becomes tender, add 1/2 cup of water, turmeric powder, sugar, and salt.
