Pour water into the wok and let it come to a boil. then add turmeric powder, ground cinnamon, salt, and fennel powder. mix well.

Now, add the cottage cheese pieces and cook until the paneer turns soft and the curry starts to thicken.
Stir in 1 cup of whole fat milk and saffron strands. continue cooking until the curry reaches the desired consistency.
