To prepare the creamy dharwad peda, heat whole milk in a saucepan over medium heat.

Once it comes to a boil, add lemon juice and stir until the milk curdles.

Drain the curdled cheese from the whey by using a muslin cloth or a strainer. squeeze out all the water.

Transfer the squeezed cheese to a kadai with 3 tablespoons of ghee over medium heat. use a spatula to break the cheese and create a crumbly texture.

Add the sugar and 1 cup of milk to the kadai. mix until the sugar dissolves.
