To create the wholesome chickpea & sweet potato patties, start by cooking and peeling the sweet potatoes. make sure they are ready for use.

Wash and soak chickpeas overnight in a bowl of water.

The following morning, place the soaked chickpeas along with some salt in a pressure cooker. seal the pressure cooker and cook over medium-high heat for about 25 minutes.

Once the chickpeas are cooked, turn off the heat and allow the pressure to release naturally.

Open the pressure cooker, drain the excess water, and transfer the cooked chickpeas to a mixing bowl.
