Gradually add water while kneading the mixture to form a smooth and pliable dough. make sure it's not too soft or too tight. let it rest for 30 minutes, covered with a damp cloth.

After resting, divide the dough into equal-sized balls and roll each ball into a 5-inch diameter circle.

Use a knife to cut each circle in half.

Make parallel slits at 1 cm intervals on both halves, leaving a 1 cm edge uncut.
