Begin by soaking the poha in water for a minute or two, then drain the excess water. set it aside.
In a saucepan, bring the milk to a boil and add the cardamom pods and bay leaf for flavor.
Stir in the soaked poha and continue to cook, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking or burning.
Once the mixture reaches the desired consistency, reduce the heat to low and add jaggery or sugar according to your taste. stir well to ensure it is evenly incorporated.
Add the almonds, cashew nuts, and raisins to the mixture, giving it a nice crunch and added flavor.
