To prepare the garlic and green chili steamed prawns, place the chopped garlic and green chilies in a heat-proof bowl and set aside.
Heat vegetable oil in a pan until it becomes hot and starts smoking. immediately pour the hot oil over the chopped garlic and chilies.
Allow the mixture to crackle and release its aroma. set it aside to cool.
While the garlic oil is cooling, prepare a steamer and place the prawns in a pan or plate suitable for steaming.
