To prepare the spicy lentil and red chilli chutney, start by heating oil in a pan.
Add chana dal to the pan and roast it until it turns golden brown.
Once the chana dal is cooked, remove it from the pan and set it aside to cool.
Meanwhile, soak the dried red chillies in hot water for about half an hour to soften them.
After soaking, transfer the red chillies along with the roasted chana dal, lemon juice, salt, coconut powder, curry leaves, and ginger to a mixer grinder.
