Begin by cooking the chickpeas: soak them for at least eight hours or overnight.
In a pressure cooker, combine the soaked chickpeas with enough water to cover them by at least 2 inches, and add some salt.
Pressure cook for about 40 minutes until the chickpeas are very soft.
