To make the nutty double ka meetha with mixed nuts rabri, begin by soaking the saffron strands in rose water and set it aside.
In a saucepan, heat milk and bring it to a boil.
Add sugar, elaichi powder, and the soaked saffron mixture to the milk. stir well and let it simmer on low heat for about 10-15 minutes until it thickens and reduces to form rabri.
In a separate pan, heat ghee and lightly roast the cashew nuts, almonds, and pistachio nuts. remove them from the pan and set them aside.
In the same pan, toast the whole wheat bread slices until they turn golden and crisp. remove from the heat and cut them into small square pieces.
