Wash and cut 500g of brinjal into pieces. place the pieces in salt water to prevent them from turning black or dark.

Wash and chop 1 cup of fenugreek leaves.

If desired, cut 2 tomatoes into pieces.

Heat 1.5 tablespoons of oil in a pan. once hot, add 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds and fry for a minute.

Add the onion pieces and fry until they become transparent.
