Steam the ragi vermicelli in a rice cooker or steamer for about 5-6 minutes until it is cooked but still firm. set it aside.
In a kadai or pan, heat 2 tablespoons of sesame oil.
Once the oil is warm, add the fenugreek seeds and allow them to sizzle for 30 seconds.
Add mustard seeds, urad dal, and curry leaves. let them crackle.
Saute for about a minute until the urad dal turns slightly brown.
