To prepare the green paneer masala, coarsely grind the fennel seeds, green chilies, coriander leaves, mint leaves, and ginger with a little water in a blender.
In a pan, heat the butter and add cinnamon, green cardamom, and bay leaf. then add the tomato puree and cook until the raw smell of tomatoes disappears.
Stir in the ground green masala along with garam masala and chaat masala. saute the masala for a few minutes on low heat.
Cover the pan and let the hariyali masala gravy cook for about 4 to 5 minutes.
Once the gravy is cooked, add the fresh cream and paneer pieces.
