To begin making the guava and curd fusion raita, chop the ripe guava into small pieces and add it to a bowl filled with curd.
Sprinkle a little salt and mix well to combine.
In a tempering pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds and urad dal. allow them to sizzle.
Add curry leaves and dry red chilli and let them crackle.
Sprinkle asafoetida (hing) and pour this tempering on top of the guava-curd mixture.
