To prepare the festive jamun rice delight recipe, start by washing the rice and soaking it for 10 minutes.
In a large, heavy-bottomed saucepan, heat 2 teaspoons of ghee and fry the soaked rice.
Add green cardamom and bay leaf to the rice.
Pour in 1 cup of water, rose water, and sugar. allow the rice to cook on medium to low flame until fully cooked.
Once the rice is cooked, spread it on a plate to cool down. drain any excess water if necessary.
