To start preparing coconut rava ladoo, heat a teaspoon of ghee in a small pan over low heat. roast the cashew nuts until they turn lightly golden and crisp.
Once roasted, add the raisins and saute for a few seconds. turn off the heat and set the roasted nuts and raisins aside.
Preheat a pan over medium heat and roast the semolina (rava/sooji) for about 4 to 5 minutes until it releases a roasted aroma. be careful not to let it brown or burn.
Once the semolina is roasted, remove it from the pan and set it aside.
In a mixer grinder, blend the sugar to make a fine powder.
