How To Cook?

Heat 1/2 cup of ghee in a large kadai (deep pan) and add 2 cups of besan (gram flour).

Roast the besan on low flame until it is well combined with ghee. use coarse besan for a grainy texture.

Continue to roast on low flame. if the mixture turns dry, add another tablespoon of ghee.

After 20 minutes, the besan will start releasing ghee.

Keep roasting until the besan turns golden brown and grainy. this may take approximately 30 minutes.
