To start preparing the beetballs pasta, wash the whole masoor dal thoroughly and soak it for 20 minutes.
Pressure cook the soaked masoor dal with very little water until it becomes soft and forms a paste-like consistency.
Peel the skin of the beetroots and grate them.
Finely chop the onion and garlic, then set them aside.
In a bowl, combine the grated beetroot, masoor dal paste, chopped onion, garlic, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. mix well until the ingredients are combined. the mixture should have a firm enough texture to form balls.
