To prepare the spicy taro root patties, start by cooking the taro root (colocasia) in a pressure cooker with 1/2 a cup of water. cook for about 4 whistles.
While the taro root is cooking, prepare the other ingredients and keep them ready.
Once the taro root is cooked, allow the pressure cooker to release pressure naturally.
Drain the liquid and peel the skin from the taro root.
Mash all the taro root to form a paste using a potato masher.
