To begin making the broccoli and cashew rava idli, roast the corn rava and sooji in a pan on low heat until they emit a nice aroma. this will take about three minutes. once done, transfer them to a big bowl and let them cool.
In another pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, asafoetida, and urad dal. saute until the dal turns golden brown.
Add cashew nuts, chopped green chillies, curry leaves, and grated ginger to the pan. saute until the cashews turn golden brown.
Now, add the grated broccoli and salt to the pan. stir to combine and saute for a few more seconds until the broccoli turns bright green. turn off the heat and let it cool.
Add curd and half a cup of water to the cooled rava mixture. add salt to taste and let it sit for 15 minutes.
