To start creating the moringa mint masala fritters, wash the chana dal thoroughly and soak it in water for 2-3 hours.

During the soaking time, wash the moringa leaves (drumstick leaves) and finely chop them. set them aside.

Once the chana dal is soaked, drain the water and transfer it to a blender.

Add ginger, garlic, dried red chillies, asafoetida, cumin seeds, and whole cloves to the blender.

Grind the mixture into a coarse paste, adding a little water if needed.
