Start by making the pizza dough. in a bowl, combine the active dry yeast, sugar, and warm water. allow it to sit for about 10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

While the dough is rising, prepare the mediterranean-inspired pizza toppings. chop the fresh tomatoes, red onion, and green bell pepper. slice the button mushrooms, and mince the garlic and green chili.
